History:

Rodeo was created by Howell Spear in the mid-1970’s and was later incorporated as an LLC in 1998. The father of the Spear Brothers formed this company with the intent of creating a portfolio of mineral interests for his children.

Today:

After the consolidation of 2010, leases from Rodeo were assigned to Trabajo (working interest), Realeza (royalty) and Tierra (surface) to increase our efficiency and further secure our assets.  We didn't lose a company, we gained three more.
